As part of the “Life is Blood” campaign, MaxBet, in collaboration with the Blood Transfusion Institute, is promoting a voluntary blood drive from April 27 to May 19, 2023, at the Institute’s premises.
All citizens who voluntarily donate blood at the Institute during these 20 days will receive a sports backpack as a token of gratitude with the campaign slogan “Life is Blood.” In addition, all donors have the opportunity to participate in a prize draw and win a special gift – a spa weekend for two. On the day of blood donation, donors fill out a coupon, which is placed in a drum, and on Saturday, 20 May, the names of three lucky winners will be announced. MaxBet’s goal is to motivate as many fellow citizens as possible to participate in this campaign to collectively ensure an adequate supply of blood for the healthcare system and the treatment of citizens.
“Our aim through this campaign, which will last for the next 20 days and is organized in collaboration with the Blood Transfusion Institute, is to encourage as many citizens as possible to participate in this important initiative and help the treatment of their fellow citizens through the act of blood donation. MaxBet has been running the ‘Life is Blood’ campaign for the past five years, and as a socially responsible company, we are dedicated to this noble goal. So far, we have successfully organized 47 voluntary blood drives in which even a quarter of our employees participated. Together, we have collected over 2500 units of blood, actively contributing to saving 7500 human lives – something we are incredibly proud of,” stated Goran Samolovac from MaxBet.
The Blood Transfusion Institute is located at Svetog Save 39 Street, and those interested can donate blood on weekdays from 7 AM to 7 PM, on Saturdays, and during the 1 May holidays from 8 AM to 3 PM.
